A comfort for coughs and colds

It’s only the 2nd of October and I have managed to get a horrible cold! Whilst cold & flu meds have been helping remedy this, I am wanting a comfort too. Whilst a good cuppa goes a long way, why don’t you try this natural remedy tea to help alongside your night & day tablets?

Lemon, Honey, Turmeric Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lemon (the juice of)
  • 4 tbsp Honey (local to you if you can)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 4 cups of Water

Method:

  • Bring the water to boil in a pan, let simmer.
  • Then add the lemon, honey and turmeric and leave for a further few minutes.
  • Voilà. That simple! Pour some into a mug and enjoy.

P.S. Heating it in a pan as well means you get the lovely fresh lemon and honey scent flowing through your home!
